Past Sponsorship Projects:

Since its development in 2000, the Integrated Management Experience classes have raised over $150,000 for various Not-For-Profits within Lethbridge. The focus of these events has ranged from raising funds to raising awareness for the organizations at hand. Some of the projects have included golf and rugby tournaments, curling bonspiels and family fun days. Among the most successful projects, the 2000 IME class partnered with Greer Homes in Lethbridge and negotiated deals with all of their subcontractors in order to help build a house. This project ultimately ended up raising over $19,000 for the Children’s Charity. The next year they hosted a Grand Gala that celebrated local businesses and raised over $17,000 for both the Southern Alberta Art Gallery and the Lethbridge Symphony. Additionally, the 2013 class developed ‘Cuisine for a Cause’ in which two local restaurants (Two Guys and a Pizza Place & Spring Rolls Restaurant) donated 100% of dinner proceeds between 5-10pm to MS research. This event was so successful that the event has continued to be run in recent years.

On March 7th, 2013, in the support of Multiple Sclerosis Society, past IME students created an event called "Cuisine for a Cause". During this event, the university community and general public were invited to dine at Spring Rolls Vietnamese RestaurantStreatside Eatery, or Two Guys and a Pizza Place. 100% of the profits from that night went directly towards funding for MS research. Thanks to the help of these local businesses and past IME students, over $7,000 was raised for Multiple Sclerosis Research.
